(1) Patent Attorney / Patent Specialist
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Patent Attorney or Patent Specialist to join our office on a full-time basis.
This is an opportunity for a motivated patent professional to work alongside like-minded lawyers and professionals in a friendly and supportive working environment while advancing your career.
What You Will Do
You will work closely with clients across a range of industries:-
- Handling all aspects of the patent prosecution process;
- Filing and prosecuting patent applications in Singapore, Asia and abroad;
- Conducting prior art/freedom to operate searches;
- Liaising with inventors and corporate clients;
- Portfolio strategy; and
- Broader intellectual property matters.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- A recognised university degree in a scientific, technical, engineering, technology or other relevant discipline, or equivalent technical experience.
- Registered Singapore Patent Attorney, or Patent Agent Successful completion of the Patent Agents Qualifying Examinations (Papers A–D).
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in patent prosecution and advisory work.
- Prior experience gained in a law firm, patent practice, in-house IP team and/or patent office.
- A good team player with a positive attitude is essential.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills with strong command of English.
- Commercial awareness with an interest in business development.

(2) Trade Mark / General IP Secretary
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, dependable Trade Mark / General IP Secretary to join our office on a full-time basis.
This is an opportunity for a motivated individual to work with a team of professionals in a friendly and supportive working environment while advancing your career.
What You Will Do
- Support lawyers with day-to-day administration and management of trade mark and general IP matters.
- Manage trade mark publications and registration certificates.
- Maintain and monitor trade mark files and database.
- Track and manage key IP timelines, including filing deadlines, renewals, recordals and other important IP deadlines.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including file opening and closing procedures in accordance with internal protocols and systems, drafting and responding to emails and letters.
- Support billing administration: prepare invoices, check disbursements, maintain records and monitor payment status.
- Perform e-filing through IP4SG and be able to navigate IPOS Digital Hub (where applicable).
- Undertake other administrative and IP-related tasks as required.
What you Bring / Qualifications and Experience
- Diploma/degree in any discipline, or relevant professional qualification.
- At least 2-5 years’ experience as a legal secretary, IP/trade mark secretary, paralegal or in a similar role (preferred).
- Exposure to multi-jurisdictional trade mark portfolio management (preferred).
- Familiarity with Singapore trade mark and IP procedures (preferred).
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Able to work independently while meeting deadlines in an autonomous environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and displays adaptability and willingness to learn new technology.
- A team player with a positive attitude and strong communication skills.

(3) Internships
We welcome summer and winter internship applications from law students interested to learn more about our key practice areas - Intellectual Property and Technology (TMT). Our internships are in-person and run for a minimum of 4 weeks.
Interns can expect to:
- Work closely with our lawyers on real client matters;
- Receive guidance and mentorship from our lawyers; and
- Gain insight into our firm’s culture and practice areas.
Application requirements:
- Law students from Singapore universities or recognised overseas universities;
- Prior study or completion of relevant subjects (for example, an intellectual property law module) will be helpful but is not required.
