Millicent is extensively experienced in contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters, ranging from prosecutions, opposition, revocation, invalidation and infringement of trade marks; to advising on copyright infringement and disputes. She is particularly skilled in working with clients from the art and design industries, having a decade of creative experience herself which equips her with the perspective and advantage in understanding the needs and concerns of these clients.

Millicent also serves as the General Secretary for the Intellectual Property Law Committee within the Singapore Law Society.
